Commissioning

Alright, so here's the deal. I'm organizing a multi session roleplay that will progress through the entire story of City of Heroes, from launch until current.

What This Involves

This will involve going through original content(via Ouroboros Flashbacks when needed) to experience the story as it was written. And treating the game world as it was back during that content.Game mechanics would stay the same(I wouldn't dare ask you to remove your invention enhancements just for the sake of roleplay).I will be progressing through each lore related mission and roleplaying as I go. Anyone who wants to come along so that they can join in, is welcome(you will of course need to mee the minimum level requirement for the mission I am on).This is NOT a speed run to see how fast missions can be completed. This is a slow roleplay focused progression through lore arcs. So if speed is what you want, this is not for you.

Why Am I Doing This

I am a writer, you may have noticed that from the ebooks that are listed on this site. And I plan to write CoX focused books that chronicle the story and lore of City of Heroes from issue 0 launch, up to current. But from the perspective of new heroes to Paragon City.It's my intent to give old time vets a bit of a nostalgia trip down memory lane, and provide new players with a bit of lore and background that they can better understand what lead to where things are now in the story.And I would like to give all a chance to be that new fresh hero once more. Even getting their names in one of my books as "having been there" when events went down.

The Setting

It's 2004. The Rikti War has claimed the lives of many heroes. New faces are coming to Paragon City to help rebuild and lend aid to those that remain.Things are quiet, for the most part. But there are still threats that need to be handled. The Skulls and the Hellions are fighting over turf, the Vahzilok are threatening citizens, and the Clockwork are up to something no one can seem to figure out yet.You've registered to be a hero, to help out. Perhaps you might be able to quell the distress that has persisted since the war?
